OYO Joins FOCUS

Orthodox Youth Outreach (OYO) has now joined the Fellowship of Orthodox Christians United to Serve (FOCUS) to expand the Orthodox outreach to the poor of North America. Read the announcement here.

Fr. Christopher Metropulos states the Orthodox Christian Network is looking for a special group of supporters:
Almost 200 American youth have venerated and visited holy relics and sites in Greece this summer, while their parents have been following their journey on the other side of the Atlantic. These youth have experienced life-changing encounters with God while in Greece, and we have been able to share it with the world. This technology has been made possible by the efforts of OCN and the faithful giving of our audience - people JUST LIKE YOU. We feel it is our call to serve faithful and seekers around the world by using the best media tools available today. Our call and mandate is to strengthen the Church and feed the faithful, using modern technology to share the ancient faith of the apostles with the world.
To continue to fulfill this call we need YOU. We need 50 people to believe in this ministry and commit to it every month for the next 12 months. Help us bring the faith face to face with people all over the world who thirst to learn about Orthodox Christianity.
